Alpha Enactus has adopted a tribal village called Thirumudivakam. Around 50 families stay there and most people are school dropouts. Girl children have studied till 7^th .out of three girls only one girl has qualified till 12^th standard. Around 45 women are employed who are ready to do any kind of work which can be done from their home. Open defecation and Girls Safety is the major issue in the village. Girls are taught self defense mechanisms. . Community toilets are being built with the help with the Govt of Tamilnadu. Alpha Enactus is also creating sustainable employability for the unemployed youth by teaching life skills.
