Students may register via the link below, however, they will be placed on a waiting list. Additional slots may be available and students will be notified via their APS school email if they become enrolled in the program.
Summer Rebound Program Overview:
9th - 12th grade APS students who have struggled to earn credit in core classes (Math, Science, Social Studies, or English) are HIGHLY ENCOURAGED to participate in Summer Rebound. All courses will be online and supported by APS teaching staff. Students may/may not be required to attend at least one day per week of in-person support time.

Summer Rebound Expectations
All students will participate in a Google Meet information session that will take place on Tuesday, June 7 at 6:00 p.m. or Thursday, June 16 at 10:00 a.m. The link will be shared in an email students will receive when students complete the registration process.
Students will take advantage of the FREE opportunity by completing their scheduled course(s) by the August 12th deadline.
All students will participate in regular weekly contact with the teacher/mentor. This may take place via face-to-face, email, phone, Google Meet, or other means.
Students should try to complete their course(s) in June and July.
Students who are taking two courses must start their second course by Friday, July 15.
Enrollment Period:
Online Enrollment Begins: Monday, May 2
Online Enrollment Closes: Friday, June 17
Courses
Online courses with in-person teacher supported class time.
Courses Open: Tuesday, June, 21
Courses Close: Friday, August 12
Upon approval from their counselor/administrator, students may enroll in up to two semester-long courses.
Courses will focus on English, Math, Science, and Social Studies as specified in the Registration Form.

In-Person Location
Online courses with in-person teacher supported class time.
The ACES Classroom located at Alpena High School.
Students will enter/exit via the ACES Entrance located on the backside of AHS between the Automotive Lab and the Gym.
Students driving will park in the lot adjacent to the Gym nearest to the ACES entrance.
Estimated Completion Rates:
To complete a Course by the August 12 deadline students must complete on average of 3% per day (as shown in the Online Course progress window).
