This site is to help you in selecting your classes during scheduling in the area of science. The state of Michigan requires 3 science credits. Each trimester course is half of a credit. At AHS we select 2.5 of your science credits. You pick from the electives to fulfill your final half credit of science. You are not limited to 3 credits and everyone is encouraged to take as many science classes as you want. Science classes help if you plan to go into a science field but they also help in other academic areas, jobs and life skills.
