About Mr. Tice

Mr. James Tice

I began my teaching career in the 2015-2016 school year and have previously taught at Charlton Heston Academy in St. Helen, MI, and Beal City Public Schools. I am proud to be part of Alma Schools and bring my experience to the classroom.

Originally from Illinois, I’ve called Michigan home since 2011. I attended Northern Michigan University in Marquette, where I earned a degree in Secondary Education with a focus on Integrated Science and a minor in Earth and Space Science.

Outside of the classroom, I enjoy spending time with family and friends. My wife and I were married in 2019, and we welcomed our son, Everett, in 2021. I’m also a big sports fan—some of my favorite sports include golf, baseball, and basketball.
