The boys played very well and through hard work we finally got our breakthrough when Jake scored. The goal was brilliant but the celebration was better. We worked hard but we couldn't do anything about the other school's 2 brilliant goals. We lost to 2-1 but the boy's performance was amazing and we went home very proud. Well done to Harrison, Siddhartha, Matthew, Eithan, Sebastian, Jake, Zane, Paul, Rushabh, Mr Chambers and Mr Hunter.
On the 18th of October 2017 a group of year 5 and year 6 girls went to Higham Ferrers school, Rushden to participate in a girls football competition. The team had to go through a couple of matches against teams from different schools. Every match that we played we had to swap the positions of striker, midfielder, defender and goal keeper.
Altogether we played four matches in that day. Our team played really well in our first match and the match ended up in a draw. In the second match, the opponent team, defeated us by 1-0 to finish the match. Our next match ended in another draw. The final game brought us our first win; a 1-0 victory to us against the opponent team. All the girls played amazingly well which made us come in eighth position out of twelve teams. We all had a fantastic evening and really enjoyed the competition.
Sportshall athletics was on the 22nd of November. It was at the Manor school in Raunds. The boys did their races, like the obstacle race or the 4 people 1 lap, while the girls would do the field events. To make it fair everybody did 2 races. Everybody enjoyed the sportshall athletics and worked their hardest. We really enjoyed the competition and we did really well. Urte, one of the girls, got the highest score out of all 22 schools in 2 seperate events, triple jump and speed bounce. Well done to everyone.
On Wednesday 28th November Mr Chambers, Ms Corr, Ms Lowe And Mrs Stokes took a Group of children to Croyland Park to participate in a Level 2 Cross Country Tournament. The first race was the Year 3 girls followed by Year 3 boys. Then each of the age groups followed. It was a cold and frosty day and everyone did tremendously. Some of the older children had to run 2 laps, sometimes running up a muddy, wet hill. With about 100 children running in each race all the children performed brilliantly with some outstanding performances from Lilly (Y4 16th), Janvi (Y3 17th), Tabitha (Y4 17th) and Ellis (Y6 21st)

At the end of the day there were all given a 'Slam Jam' goody bag.
Under the guidance of their team managers, Rushabh and Jake from Sports Squad, Year 4 went to a hockey tournament at Wrenn Academy, it was wet and cold weather. We started of in a tough group and played very well, we had a hard last game but at the end came 2nd in our group. Then we could come 4th, 5th or 6th so we won our last 2 games and came first in our group, finishing 4th overall. Credit to the sports squad for helping out.
