What is a Learning Council?

A “learning council” is a group of individuals within a school that meets to share knowledge and ideas around effective learning in order to accomplish two major goals: Communicating the existing learning and developing new and improved learning ideas.

At All Saints CEVA Primary our Learning Council is made up of our Head Boy and Head Girl, along with two representatives from each class, from Year 1 to Year 6. Our Head Boy and Girl chair the meetings and record the minutes.

Mr Martin Hunter (Assistant Headteacher) and Miss Stephanie Cheetham (Assistant Headteacher) both attend the meetings to answer any questions on behalf of the staff.
