BASIC INFORMATION ABOUT THE PROGRAM
Location: Pozo Guerra, San Nicolas Buenos Aires, Puebla, México
Cost: Free! We provide 3 meals a day on each working day, and accommodation for the duration or your stay. Volunteers are responsible for all other expenses, including travel.
Work Days: Monday to Saturday morning.
Arrival Days: Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays before 6:00 pm
Accommodation: We’ll provide basic indoor co-ed accommodation with bunkbeds. We will be staying in a private section of apartments. There will not be any space available for tents.
Meals: Breakfast, lunch and dinner provided. Vegetarian diets can be accommodated.
WiFi: The San Nicolas Buenos Aires area has a cell service signal; our team recommends TELCEL.
There is WiFi on base.
AHAH can make program laptops available on a limited-time basis for quick email communications at home or provide program phones for emergency WhatsApp calls at home.
Access: We recommend you fly into Benito Juárez International Airport. It is a 3-hour drive within from our base. There are lots of small shops in San Nicolas Buenos Aries and more larger shops in nearby San Martin El Secco. There is an ATM 4 minutes walk from base
