University of Cambridge Subject Masterclasses Coming in 2024

• The university runs subject specific masterclasses for students wanting to get a taste of teaching and learning at the University of Cambridge.

• These events require booking onto and take place over the course of a full day with a number of different sessions on different topics

• For example, previous title of one of these sessions was "Remainders of Security: from Modular Arithmetic to Cryptography". This talk gave an introduction to many fundamental ideas in modular arithmetic, an area of maths which underpins modern day cybersecurity and encryption techniques.
