Athletic Coordinator

I have been at Ereckson Middle School since 2006. This is my second year as Girl’s Athletic Coordinator. I will also be teaching  CTE. I am a United States Marine Veteran having served in Desert Shield/Desert Storm. I have been a varsity football, basketball, and softball coach. My wife Tina is an instructional coach at Richardson ISD. I have 3 adult children Connor, Tyler, and Janay. I also have  2 grandchildren Ryder and Sayler 

I am excited to start my career at Ereckson Middle School! I am a recent college graduate from Missouri Valley College where I competed in Basketball and Track at the collegiate level. I will be coaching volleyball, basketball, and track, while also teaching our new homeroom connections class! I'm excited for a great year!  

I’ve been in education for 26 years and spent the first 11 of those coaching, which I absolutely loved. I took some time away from coaching to raise my 3 children, Steven, Isaiah and Katy.  After some time away from the court, I jumped back into coaching last years and couldn’t be happier. Sports have always been a big part of my life, and I’m passionate about helping young ladies grow—not just as athletes, but as confident, capable individuals both on and off the court.

This is my 9th year in education and coaching and my second year at Ereckson Middle School.  I will be coaching Cross Country, Basketball and Track.  I will also be teaching Team , PE and Partners PE.  I have three kids, Soren-22, Hudson-19, and Annie-16.  We all enjoy sports and my boys play collegiate lacrosse in Michigan while my daughter plays basketball in high school.   We also enjoy doing anything outdoors together like camping, backpacking, hiking, skiing, etc.  I grew up playing all kinds of sports but basketball has always been my favorite.  I've continued to enjoy playing a lot of different sports into my adulthood and enjoy being active.  I'm excited about the opportunity to continue doing what I love at Ereckson.

I'm beginning my first year at Allen ISD and 25th year overall in public education. My previous stops have been with Killeen ISD, Belton ISD and Robinson ISD. I have coaching experience in swimming, volleyball, softball and tennis. I served as head tennis coach at Robinson HS the last seven years. I'll be the tennis coach at Ereckson, and I'll be varsity assistant for tennis at the high school.
