Welcome to our Virtual Makerspace Area!
Here you will find resources and challenges that you can do from home. Some of these activities will be similar to what we have in our actual makerspace area at school, and others will be completely different. These challenges will stretch and cover all different subjects in unique ways.
We would love to see what you create and explore while learning from home! Take pictures and tweet out your creations by tagging the Evans Library (@LibraryEvans)

Various household supplies (cardboard, straws, cotton balls, string, etc)

You could also use a cardboard box or tray instead of a paper plate. Challenge yourself by placing traps in the maze or creating a secret code in the maze that can only be solved by completing the maze.

On your large piece of paper or canvas, draw a spiral that fills the page.
Cut out several triangles from the colored paper.
Fold the bottom of the triangle up 1/4 of an inch
Glue the folded part of the triangle onto the spiral.
- Start the center of your spiral in the corner of the paper instead of the middle.
- Use only shades of blue and purple triangle pieces, or some other color scheme
