Click on the Sora/OverDrive link to enter our Virtual Library

To view the collection directly on the Sora app, click here. Same books, a more user-friendly interface.

You may download and enjoy eBooks and audiobooks; or you may read or listen from your browser:

  • To sign in, select your school from the drop-down menu.

  • Then, click [the name of your middle school] Users click here.

  • Next, click the blue SSO sign-in bar.

  • You will be taken to the familiar Allen ISD Portal page. Sign in using your ID number and password.


You may also read on your phone or other device. You will need to download the Sora app.

Follow these steps:

  • Download the Sora by Overdrive app on your device.

  • Add your Library by searching for Allen ISD (Secondary Campuses)

  • Then, click for [the name of your middle school] Users click here

  • Next, click the blue SSO sign-in bar.

  • You will see the Allen ISD Portal...sign in using your Allen ISD credentials (Student ID & Password)

  • Find a book and READ ON!

About the TumblePremium:

The TP is a collection of TumbleBooks (animated, talking picture books) with fiction, non-fiction and foreign language titles, Math Stories, Read-Alongs (chapter books with sentence highlighting and narration but no animation), Videos (from National Geographics), TumbleTV which consists of pre-set playlists of a sequence of books, Tumble Puzzles & Games, and TumbleResources for teachers and students. TumbleBooks are created from existing picture books which we have licensed from children's book publishers and converted to the TumbleBook format.

Because Allen ISD Elementary schools subscribe to TumblePremium Library, we have complimentary access.

LitFinder provides access to literary works and authors throughout history and includes more than 150,000 full-text poems and 800,000+ poetry citations, as well as short stories, speeches, and plays. The database also includes secondary materials like biographies, images, and more.
