Welcome to Kindergarten and welcome to Boon Elementary! My name is Chelsea Bethke. I decided I wanted to teach when I was in sixth grade. My sixth grade teacher taught me to love a subject in school that I had never loved before. From then on I wanted to make an impact on others the same way she made an impact on me. The relationships that are established each year are lifelong and our classroom is a positive community where learning grows for each child at their own personal rate.

Here is some fun information about me. My first year teaching was in 2012 at Boon and I have spent every year since then teaching at Boon. My first year teaching I taught first grade. After a fun year in first grade, I moved down to Kindergarten and have taught there ever since. My experience with Kindergarten has been a blast! I have been able to use technology in fun and creative ways that help bring your child's learning to life!

My Family:

I have been married for almost 9 years, have a shy, sweet rescue dog named Abby and a crazy cat named Snoogins. My husband and I have a daughter who will be 5 in October! Growing up I had 3 brothers with no sisters and I loved playing outside with all my brothers. I started attending Allen Schools in 2nd grade and I am a proud graduate of Allen High School. I still attend most of the Allen football games. GO EAGLES!
