GT Instructional Choice Board

This tool is designed to help you get started when planning for gifted and high-potential learners. Created for use with Heather Pierce, GT teacher and instructional coach, the board offers practical ideas for identifying gifted traits, enriching instruction, and supporting student growth. Teacher/Parent Nomination Forms

These forms are used to recommend students for gifted screening based on observed strengths, behaviors, and academic performance. Teachers and parents can provide supporting evidence and narrative observations to help identify students who may benefit from gifted services.

Jot Down Forms

Jot Down Forms are informal tools that allow teachers to document behaviors and characteristics commonly associated with giftedness. These observations help build a fuller picture of a student’s potential and can support the referral and identification process.
