Use the links above to find out more about the courses I teach, the research projects of current group members, and the facilities we use to accomplish our research goals.
I grew up in the northwest suburbs of Chicago in Des Plaines, IL. In 2005 I graduated from St. Lawrence University in Canton, NY with a B.S., double majoring in chemistry and biology. From 2005 to 2010 I worked with Professor David Glueck at Dartmouth College in Hanover, NH to earn my Ph.D. in chemistry studying asymmetric homogeneous catalysis. Following that I taught at Hamilton College in Clinton, NY as a visiting assistant professor from 2010 to 2012 before moving with my family to Meadville, PA to teach and do research as an assistant professor at Allegheny College. I became a tenured member of the faculty in 2019 and was promoted to the rank of associate professor. I subsequently served as Chemistry Department Chair from 2020-2024.
