About Me
Hi, I’m Tyrese. I’m a dog trainer based in Tigard, Oregon, and my love for dogs started long before I ever thought about training as a career. I grew up in Portland always surrounded by dogs, and from early on I knew I wanted to work with them in a way that truly made a difference.
I officially began my training journey in 2023 after moving to Tigard. It started with a close friend and mentor who trusted me to work with their dog. That experience sparked something in me and pushed me to dive deep into canine psychology, behavior, and modern training techniques. Seeing how clear communication and structure could completely change a dog’s behavior confirmed that this was the path I wanted to take.
By 2024, I realized training wasn’t just something I enjoyed on the side, it was what I was meant to do. Helping dogs build confidence and teaching owners how to communicate in a way that actually makes sense to the dog has been the most rewarding part of my work.
In 2025, I began sharing my training sessions online to help educate owners and show what real training looks like. As more people in my community started reaching out, I had the opportunity to work with dogs of all breeds, ages, and behavioral backgrounds. Every dog and owner brings their own challenges and goals, and that’s what I love most about this work.
My approach is built on structure, clarity, and consistency. Dogs aren’t bad or stubborn. Most behavior issues come from confusion, lack of communication, or missing structure. My goal is to help dogs think, self regulate, and make better choices while empowering owners with the knowledge and confidence to lead their dog successfully.
