• Following that, you must review the terms given on its “License Agreement” window. Then, click “Yes”.

• The following window gives you the Firewall Settings. It prompts you to “Deactivate the Block” for permitting Installation. Hence, select the corresponding checkbox. 

• Then, click “Next”.

• This will take you to the “Connection Method” window. This screen prompts you to make a selection of your Connectivity option. As such, go through the given instructions to complete the Network Connection. 

• Then, click “Next” to start Installing ij Scan Utility. 

• Thereafter, wait for the Installation process to finish properly. 

• Once the process completes, click “Exit”.

• Finally, Restart your Computer. 

To run, select IJ Scan Utility in the appropriate location.

• Windows 10: From the Start menu, select All Apps > Canon Utilities > IJ Scan Utility. If you do not see this, type IJ Scan Utility in the search bar.

• Windows 8: Select IJ Scan Utility on the Start screen. (If IJ Scan Utility is not displayed on the Start screen, select the Search charm, then search for “IJ Scan Utility.”)

• Windows 7/Windows Vista/Windows XP: From the Start menu, choose All Programs > Canon Utilities > IJ Scan Utility > IJ Scan Utility to start IJ Scan Utility.
