Characteristic Derivation

Customer profiles are analyzed and broken down in order to derive proxy variables that represent intrinsic customer characteristics.

Intial Sampling

The product is then offered to an initial sampling of customers, chosen at random.

Based on response, common characteristics of customers who show interest are identified.

Main Targeting

The offer is sent to other customers who share identified common characteristics. The criteria is further refined based on response, allowing the process to become more accurate over time.
