We are delighted you are joining us virtually for this exciting new event in the Fobisia Drama Calendar. The Monologue Challenge is an opportunity for our school communities to share solo work and offer a platform for dramatic performance. We recognise how the recent lockdown and social distancing measures have afforded many of our students the opportunity to perform monologues. Our aim is to capture, celebrate and share the brilliant work created by our students in the face of adversity. We cannot wait to see what you've been working on.
Register by: 30 September 2020
Submission of video: 2-13 November 2020

Your teachers will enter one monologue per school per category. We hope that schools will run their own competitions and challenges to decide who is entered.
We are delighted to announce that the fabulous Kerry Frampton, Artistic Director of the UK theatre company Splendid Productions, will be this year's judge. Kerry will watch each monologue performance and award prizes for a host of criteria, including awards for truth, bravery, commitment, innovation and rapport.
We are very much looking forward to watching your performances - be confident, be creative, be committed. Have fun. Knock our socks off with your talent. But before entering - do ensure you have read and understood the guidelines.
