We are 10 this year!
Join us for a special night, as we celebrate the Charity Dinner's 10th year anniversary since it was first introduced in 2010. Experience an evening of ‘high KLASS’ entertainment and dinner at the fabulous Grand Hyatt Hotel, Kuala Lumpur, organised and run entirely by voluntary secondary students, staff and parents.
The Charity Dinner is an integral part of our calendar, made special by our students waiting your tables, including serving a three-course dinner, and bringing you entertaining performances, from upbeat band covers to classical music.
Last year, thanks to the generosity of donors, we raised over RM83,000 to support the community!
Funds raised was used to support the high impact service learning and charitable projects carried out by our secondary students annually. This included advancing the ongoing waste management project in Kampung Juara on Tioman Island, continuing work on our reforestation and conservation project in the Kiulu Valley, Borneo by building beehives to increase biodiversity, constructing Safe Water Gardens for rural homes in Sumatra, refurbishing and decorating classrooms at Kao Thong School in Krabi, and building a dormitory for Muan Ngam School in Chiang Mai. The funds also supported the Foundation’s community area of funding to enable the commencement of future charitable projects. This giving has made a huge impact to the local communities we partner with, and we hope to be able to continue to do it again this year. All of this would not be possible without your support .
Help us raise RM100,000 this year! All funds raised will impact the community with the aims below:
- Improve the quality of life in our community and beyond, and support local environmental efforts through the continuation of these valuable service learning projects undertaken by the Alice Smith secondary students annually.
- Sustain the journey of environmental stewardship in school and become a global leader in service learning to save our Earth.
