In 20th of May 2020, Khadiga’s family was watching TV at their house in Cairo, Egypt and they found an advertisement talking about the pollution caused by batteries. Her mom and dad realized that she uses a lot of batteries for toy cars. So she decided to do a magnetic car.
Khadiga realized that she needs to use fewer batteries so she bought a toy car then placed a magnet inside it and a magnet on an iron ruler. To move the car forward, she let the magnets get close to each other. She thought about this idea because batteries produce toxic chemicals that produce green house gases and this will cause global warming.
When khadiga asked her family about their opinion they said,
“It’s very creative and very easy to do at home!”
Khadiga was very happy with her idea and that she found a way that could help with reducing the green house effect that causes global warming.
Khadiga started spreading out her idea with all her friends and family and they tried it and they will not get more cars that work with batteries. Also she is planning to make a short video that explains this idea and post it on the internet to make sure that all people use fewer batteries to save the world from pollution and global warming.
