Alhambra Online Learning is a 6-8th online course provider in the Alhambra Elementary School District in Phoenix, Arizona. Alhambra Online Learning is an approved Arizona Online course provider through the Arizona State Board of Education as an extension of the school district. Courses are free to students. All Alhambra Online Learning teachers are highly qualified and certified in their area of instruction.
State-certified, AESD teachers teach all online courses. Teachers are appropriately certified in the grade(s) and content(s) they instruct. Prior to teaching an online course, each teacher is trained in best practices of mentoring online learners.
Any AESD 6-8th grade student can register to take a course provided through AesdOnline. Students begin the registration process for AesdOnline courses by contacting their site principal at their home school or, through the AesdOnline Office.

There are no costs associated with taking an online course through AesdOnline.
Currently, AesdOnline offers English Language Arts and Mathematics courses for 6th - 8th grade students. For access to the course catalog, please click here.
Yes, all students taking an online course are required to take all state assessments.
Students participating in Aesd Online courses are required to adhere to the same attendance requirements as non-online students. Students are not permitted to miss in-person instruction at the school site while taking an online course, unless excused by their parent or guardian.
