Design Process

Initial Consultation

Meet Amelia on site to discuss your ideas for your outdoor space. How you intend to use the space and the style you would like to achieve will be discussed. Some initial ideas regarding layout, materials and planting will be identified. Please allow 1-2 hours.  

Amelia will put together your garden design brief identifying the key components discussed and some imagery to complement the brief. A design fee proposal will accompany the brief for your consideration.

Design Development

Amelia will utilise her landscape design knowledge to create a custom designed garden to meet the specified criteria in the design brief. A meeting to further discuss the initial design, materials, lighting and plant selections will occur and clients will be encouraged to provide feedback and any alterations will be made accordingly.

Final Plans

Final plans will include a hardscaping plan, planting plan and a garden information booklet which covers all aspects of the installation and ongoing care of the garden in detail. Concept images and material selections will also be included. If you have not already engaged a landscape construction team, Amelia will recommend a landscaper best suited to your project.
