Teachers will be using Google Classroom to communicate with you regarding homework, updates and other important classroom information.
Parents of students in Montessori, Grades 1 & Grade 2: Please check your child's Google Classroom using their username and password for their school provided email. For more information please scroll down to see username and passwords.
Parents of students in Grades 3 and up: please ask your child to show you their Google Classroom and check daily for important announcements and homework.

Username and Passwords
Each student was provided with a username and password to access their school's email and Google Classroom and Zoom Classes.
The second line on the label on the chromebook is the child's username. Inside the chromebook they can find the passward. If you do not know your child's username and password, please contact IT@alfajrulbassem.com or call the school at (905) 514- 9995.
Chromebooks
Chromebooks: Students and Parents are asked to sign the Chromebook agreement before they receive chromebooks. Selected grades will receive a chromebook as the needs of classroom arise. Chromebooks are the Property of Alfajrulbassem Academy . Students should use chromebooks ONLY for school work (e.g. Google Classroom, assignment, Zoom classes in case of switch to online classes). Parents are responsible for chromebooks. Parents will be asked to pay a replacement fee if the chromebook is damaged. If you have any questions about technology or want to notify us of any site that needs to be blocked or permitted please email IT@alfajrulbassem.ca.
Online classes
In case of moving online, students need to log in to their account using their username and information that were provided on their chromebook. If you do not know your child's username and password, please contact IT@alfajrulbassem.com or call the school at
Students can go to gmail.com, log in using their username@ alfajrulbassem.com and password. Once in, students should go to google calendar. In the calendar, they should be able to view their classes. There is a zoom link for online classes embedded in the calendar. Please check the following slides/ document for more information.
**2022-2023: No online classes are currently planned for this school year. The previous information is from archive in case of any switch online learning during the school year.
