The BCE (Business, Communications & Entrepreneurship) Academy, which includes the arts, focuses on providing experiences for students who are interested in careers within the arts, audio/video technology & communications, finance, information technology, business, management & administration, hospitality & tourism, marketing, and sales & service industries.
If you like to draw, create, design or perform the BCE Academy has experiences for you. From studio arts, to music performance, to theatre, and more, there are many course options within the BCE Academy for students to explore their passion for creativity and expression.

The BCE Academy offers opportunities for students to explore business careers, including sales & marketing. Students can start at the intro level with Business Careers, and then choose from marketing classes, Entrepreneurship, College Macroeconomics, College Principles of Management and Business CAPS.
The BCE Academy offers some great course offerings for those students interested in computer science. Students can start with introductory options like Computer Hardware & Operating Systems or Game Design, and then they can choose from Introduction to Networks and Programming in Python as a next level course. The academy also offers an advanced level option with College Intro to Computers.
If you like communications and audio/visual, the BCE Academy has opportunities to explore these career pathways. Communications & Journalism is an introductory course students can take, along with courses like Creative Writing and Media or Video Production. Advanced level courses are also available like Business CAPS, College Public Speaking and College Principles of Management. There are also courses like Graphic Design, Web Page Design, Animation and Advanced Digital Art.
Business CAPS provides senior students with real-world experiences in professional settings where they can learn and develop skills for high-demand careers. With an emphasis on marketing business concepts, students spend the semester applying their acquired knowledge as they engage in partner-driven projects, solving business problems and experiencing the challenges of project-based work.
DECA is a career and technical student organization for students interested in business, marketing, finance, hospitality and management. Students in DECA also get the opportunity to compete in events that pertain to the career clusters mentioned above.
