READING

We are currently working in literature. We are reading stories and looking at key elements such as setting. plot, characters and theme. We are then comparing and contrasting stories written by the same author using these key elements.

MATH

This month your child has been learning how to multiply and divide within two-step word problems. We've also been working on the Commutative, Distributive, and Associative Properties of Multiplication. Remember, that your child should be coming home and studying multiplication flashcards each night.

SCIENCE

In science, we are learning about the human muscular system.

SOCIAL STUDIES

We are currently learning about science. In the coming weeks, we will shift our focus back to a social studies topic.
