Band Director Bio

Ms. Alayna Galantis received her Bachelor's of Music from Appalachian State University in the spring of 2022 and is currently the director of Bands at East Alexander Middle School.

Ms. Galantis is a graduate of Appalachian State University and is entering her second year of teaching at EAMS. While at Appalachian State University, Ms. Galantis was a part of multiple ensembles including the App State Clarinet Studio, the App State "Band of Distinction" Marching Band, the App State Concert Band, the App State Wind Ensemble, and the App State Symphony Orchestra.

Ms Galantis completed her student teaching at West Wilkes Middle/High School with Mr. Matthew Dauer in the spring of 2022.
