The contest was sponsored by KI, a classroom furniture company.

We appreciate the support of the Taylorsville Times and Alexander County Government who also shared contest links to make sure we got LOTS of votes. 

Ortiz was a finalist who beat out contestants from much bigger districts in the Atlanta and Boston areas.
