Halle Gragg

Hello! My name is Halle, I’m a senior here at AC. As for my qualifications as an editor, I’ve been in the AP Academy since freshman year, and have taken a total of 10 Advanced Placement classes. I do enjoy looking over papers, though I tend to be a bit nit-picky, but I always mean well. I will try my best to offer words of encouragement and reassurance throughout my criticism, as I found this helped me a lot last year when writing papers.

Strengths: Grammar/punctuation, syntax/structure, word choice, and more.

Relevant Coursework: AP Language & Composition, AP Seminar, and AP Research. A score of 34 on the English portion of the ACT, and a 35 on Reading.

Allie Patton

Hello, my name is Allie Patton and I am a senior AP Academy student here at Alexander Central. As a writing reviser, I would take on a more nurturing role rather than picking apart what is bad within the piece of writing. I would most likely be the one who would tell you what you did exceptionally well in addition to kind and friendly feedback.

Strengths: I am very good at pinpointing what a teacher, or rubric, wants within a piece of writing.

Relevant Coursework: I have completed one AP English class in addition to taking/have taken the AP courses required to be eligible for Capstone.
