ACCESS Franchise Model Options For a Typical School Year
Did you know that ACCESS has many of its standards-based, high quality courses available for each LEA to use through the Franchise Model?
The ACCESS Franchise Model is an agreement between school districts and the ALSDE for local teachers to use the content of selected ACCESS courses absolutely free!
That's right. LEAs are provided absolutely without charge with the ACCESS content for the teachers in their system to use for instruction. Therefore, teachers are able to provide students with content that is aligned to the standards in the COS in an easily, accessible digital format. Teachers no longer have to spend hours searching for or creating content to share. With the use of the ACCESS Franchise Model, teachers focus their energy on implementing engaging instructional strategies to successfully teach the content. Teachers can add scaffolding, record videos, provide individualized feedback to learners, and so much more. So, when teachers need to be able to share rigorous and relevant content digitally while maintaining autonomy, the ACCESS Franchise Model is here to help!
For the remainder of the 2020 school year (April-June 5th), all courses listed below will be available for use via the ACCESS Franchise Model!
Sample Lesson Introduction for English 10
Sample Lesson Introduction for Economics
*In order to meet the immediate needs of districts, some requirements may be waived.
