Good books. Great readers. Take care of both!

We might be able to repair it! Please return damaged books to the library as they are - rather than trying to repair them at home. Many torn pages, loose covers, and other small problems can be repaired with our library supplies.
If a book cannot be repaired and must be removed from the collection, a replacement fine might be added to your student's MySchoolBucks account. Students will also receive a paper notice if they are given a fine for a book.
Due to district library book requirements and the need for books designed for high circulation, replacement books purchased by families cannot be accepted in place of lost or damaged library books.
Water damage is the biggest reason we lose books from our library collection each year. Even a small leak or spill can permanetly damage a book and lead to mold. Mold can spread fast and take out more books in our collection.
To protect our collection, any book with water damage must be removed from circulation and cannot return to the shelves. A replacement fine for books returned with water damage will be added to MySchoolBucks.
Please help protect our collection by keeping water bottles and library books separate - especially inside backpacks.
From keeping our library organized to supporting hands-on learning with students, these supplies help us make the most of our time together.
