Aledo ISD's summer reading initiative Aledo Reads @ Home begins May 27th!
Aledo Reads At Home will celebrate students who read for fun this summer.
Aledo Reads At Home is designed to prevent the summer slide through encouraging and motivating our students to read books of their choice throughout the summer.
AISD has developed a list of fiction and non-fiction title choices by grade level for students and families that would like suggestions of high- interest texts by grade level (see below).
In an effort to encourage and promote summer reading, students that participate will be entered for a chance to win prizes throughout the summer. Once students finish reading a book they can submit a reading response to be entered into the drawing (more info & form linked below).
