Here is a little information to help you get to know me better!  I am a husband to my high school sweetheart Tangela, father to Jameson, coach of Beastmode a select travel basketball team and inaugural Principal of the Impact Leadership Academy which is an All Boys School in Aldine ISD in Houston, Texas.  

Tangela, Jameson and I are all connected with Aldine ISD.  I am entering my 16th year in education, Tangela is entering her 9th year in education currently serving as the ELA Instructional Coach at Dunn Elementary and Jameson is a Junior at Aldine High School where he is ranked #5 out of 717 in his class, plays point guard on the varsity basketball team, and is a member of the National Society of High School Scholars!

As a family who values education Jameson has been exposed to colleges at a very young age and has been to over 30 different campuses ranging from Stephen F. Austin State University his parent's alma mater to Duke University!  Jameson is a Superintendent Student Ambassador and also a member of the  Aldine Dream Team that will be visiting even more colleges to help him make an informed decision on what college he will attend in the Fall of 2025!  

I am a transformational leader who has led 3 different low performing schools and turned each one of them around.  I am an innovative  leader that created a set of No Box Thinking principles to empower/motivate others to reach their maximum potential.  

This exact attention to detail and passion for Jameson's success as a student is the same FOCUS that I bring to the young men of Impact!  I have told everyone that has ever been a staff member for me that if it is not good enough for Jameson then it is not good enough for the students that we serve!  As the leader of IMPACT NATION I promise to provide them with an EMPOWERMENT filled EDUCATIONAL EXPERIENCE that is second to none! 

Therefore, it does not matter if the young men are walking the hallway, in class learning, at PE exercising, in Art expressing their artistic skills, ideating in Entrepreneurship, making calculated moves on the chessboard, executing a play on the basketball court/soccer field or merely being a great son it is my EXPECTATION that they always:

By doing these things they will walk into any situation ready to maximize their abilities which is THE IMPACT WAY!
