CCMR stands for College, Career, and Military Readiness. It’s a state measure that shows whether students are prepared for life after high school—whether that’s college, the workforce, or military service.
The goal at Nimitz is simple: to make sure all students graduate high school with their CCMR point. To do this students must meet at least one of the approved indicators set by the state of Texas.
It is important to understand that even if a student meets CCMR through career, military, or advanced placement indicators, they must still demonstrate college readiness if they plan to take college-level courses. To do this, students will need to meet minimum required scores on one of the following assessments: the TSIA2, the SAT, or the ACT. These scores show colleges that they are ready for credit-bearing coursework in English and math.
Ultimately, CCMR is about helping students succeed beyond high school. By meeting one of the indicators and becoming college- and career-ready, students are building a strong foundation for your future.

Texas Success Initiative (TSI)
Texas Success Initiative (TSI)
The Texas Success Initiative (TSI) requires students to demonstrate that they are ready for college-level coursework in Math & English. Colleges use this to determine if you can take courses that count towards your degree OR if you have to take developmental courses (these don’t count toward your degree but will prepare you for other courses).
If a student is interested in taking Dual Credit courses, the TSI is used to ensure they are ready to take college level courses.

To send TSI scores:
Visit the ACCUPLACER Student Portal: https://studentportal.accuplacer.org/#/studentisr
When inputting your information, your ID is your Unique ID not your Aldine ID - you can find your unique ID on your transcript on the top right hand, labeled “Student Unique ID” or you can email Ms. Gonzalez to look it up.
Accuplacer will send you an email with a link to send scores to colleges.
