Meet Counselor Moore, LPC
Meet Counselor Moore, LPC
Counselor Moore is one of two Counselors at Goodman ACE Elementary. She has been in Aldine ISD for twenty years. Seven of those years were spent as a classroom teacher and the other thirteen years as an Elementary Counselor. She has taught grades Kindergarten, Second, and Third. Shalondra holds a Bachelors degree in Elementary Education from the University of Houston-Main Campus and a Masters in Counseling from Prairie View A& M University. In her spare time, she loves to volunteer in the community with her church family and Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority Incorporated. She is a Licensed Professional Counselor and a Mental Health Change Agent for children. She is a Servant leader, Mentor and believes strongly in Mental Health as well as Social and Emotional Wellness. Counselor Moore is a recipient of LSSSCA 2022 School Counselor of the Year Finalist Award, 2023-2024 SEL Champion of The Year (Elementary), 2025 Elementary Counselor of the Year- Aldine ISD and have received numerous awards for philanthropy service and educational endeavors.

Meet Counselor Franks
Mrs. Kesha L. Franks is one of two Goodman ACE counselors. She has been in education for over 24 years, 15 years in Aldine ISD. She graduated from Concordia University at Austin with a Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration. She later received her teaching certification at Sam Houston State University. Mrs. Franks coached girls’ athletics at the middle/high school level including elective classes. In Aldine, Mrs. Franks taught 5th grade English/Language Arts and physical education. In her leisure time, she enjoys spending time with her family, cooking, and traveling. As a school counselor, Mrs. Franks strives for student excellence by making sure that all students feel safe and that their social, emotional, and mental needs are being met. She believes that student success starts with building relationships and working with parents in helping support their child’s educational foundation.

Mrs. Ward
Principal LaDon Ward has been selected as the Principal of Goodman Elementary School. For 30+ years, she has served the Aldine community as a paraprofessional, classroom teacher, skills specialist, counselor, assistant principal and most recently as principal of Goodman ACE Elementary School.
