This session will introduce and provide participants with the knowledge to be able to use mCLASS to administer universal screening and dyslexia screening. How to set up groups in mCLASS intervention for Tier II classroom intervention groups. Teachers K-5 will understand how to use mCLASS math for Tier II intervention. Plus, Amplify Reading will be explained and its benefit as practice in the classroom.

Participants will KNOW the components of the ELA curriculum documents, UNDERSTAND how each component supports CKLA implementation and learning, and BE ABLE TO navigate the ELA curriculum documents to support successful CKLA implementation.
By the end of this 3-module course, participants will KNOW CKLA's lesson structure, UNDERSTAND the purpose of CKLA’s approach and design using current research (The “Why”), and BE ABLE TO identify: 1) early literacy skills taught within a CKLA Skills lesson 2) the core components of CKLA lessons at each grade band and 3) the digital and online resources available to support implementation and learning.
