Samarcanda is an Italian social cooperative based in Schio (VI). Its purpose is the promotion of social equity and integration, carrying on initiatives dedicated to improve and raise awareness on the respect of citizenship rights, and the sense of Community.

Samarcanda is specialized also in offering services of welcoming and integration of migrants and refugees, working in collaboration with Local Authorities.

Samarcanda accompanies beneficiaries along the whole process of integration, organizing capacity building to improve technical and labor skills, language competencies, and enhance sensitivity and motivation of vulnerable people, giving them a chance to integrate into society.

Besides that, the is engaged in the promotion of youth policies, equal opportunities, support for the development of self entrepreneurship activities, and active citizenship, targeting also youth, unemployed people, young women, immigrants, and refugees.
