PROFESSIONAL HIGH SCHOOL MOSHA PIJADE


The professional high school ‘Mosha Pijade’ – Tetovo was founded in 1928 as a middle school of agricultural education. In the school year 1946/1947 it developed into high school of agriculture which lasted for three years, while in 1950/1951 it was changed into a four-year programme.

From 1960, the school holds the name Agricultural High school ‘Mosha Pijade’ – Tetovo. In 1961, the day of the death of Mosha Pijada – 15th March, was declared as the day of the school. Because of the society’s neglect of the agriculture and the increased demand of the economical and other profiles, the agricultural high school ‘Mosha Pijade’ was advanced and transformed into an Educational Centre of Economics.

In 2006 the school changed the name into Professional High School "Mosha Pijade" – Tetovo.

Today the school has more than 1500 students in 75 classes in the programmes: traffic, mechanics, agriculture and veterinary, touristic, electro-technician, construction geodesy, forestry and wood carving.

The teaching is realized in Macedonian and Albanian, in two school buildings and in two shifts. The school has 206 workers, out of which 152 teachers, 10 administrators (principal, deputy principal, cashier, sociologist, psychologist, pedagogue, secretary) and 44 site staff.

From 2021 the school become Regional Centre for Education and Training from the Ministry of Education.

The school actively participating in Erasmus program since 2018.
