The Bee's Knees was founded by the students of the Alcuin Montessori Middle School 2019-2020 class for educational purposes. It follows the guidelines set by Maria Montessori, and the idea of Erdkinder, meaning "land children"; that the students grow the ingredients and run the business. The Bees Knees is split up into three smaller businesses; Snack shack, Moss Maniacs, and Craft & Co. are all run by our management team made up of 8th graders.
The head managers of the Alcuin Middle school Erdkinder program have been selectively chosen to guide the students and provide our students encouragement throughout our student-led business.
