Mr. Shoemaker's Language Arts

Hello!

My name is Casey Shoemaker and I will be joining the Alburnett team for the upcoming school year. I am a recent graduate of the University of Northern Iowa, receiving a BA in English Teaching in December of 2019. 2020 will not only be my first year at Alburnett, but also my first year as a teacher! In addition to teaching, I will be coaching on the high school football staff, as well as coaching basketball.

Outside of the classroom, my girlfriend and I love hiking, traveling, and spending time with our friends and family. We are also excited to welcome our first puppy home this summer, Chunk!

I am proud and excited for the opportunity to be at Alburnett and look forward to being a part of the community for years to come!
