Hello! My name is Kelsey Jacobs. I am finishing up my 5th year as a School Counselor and my 4th school year here at Alburnett! I grew up in Marion and graduated from Linn-Mar High School in 2014. I went on to receive my Bachelor of Arts in Family Services and Mental Health from UNI in 2018. After that, I continued at UNI and received my Masters in School Counseling in 2020. Previously, I worked for Iowa Virtual Academy before making my way to Alburnett.

Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my family and friends. My husband Jackson and I have an almost 3 year old son, Jameson and another coming in June 2026! We also have our dog, Payton, who has been with us since Christmas 2018.
