Teachers will complete at least one coaching cycle. This can be related to their work in the curriculum review cycle, their Individual Career Development Plan goal, or any other classroom need that arises throughout the school year. The teacher chooses the coaching cycle topic.
A Coaching Cycle is Defined as the Following:
Planning with the coach
Implementing the plan with a reflection session after the lesson
Reflection Options
Feedback observation by the coach, with a post-observation conversation with the coach
Conversation after the lesson with the coach
Review student data with the coach to determine the plan’s effectiveness
Teachers may choose from the following frequency of meetings:
Monthly check-ins
Weekly meetings
PLC team support only (weekly or monthly)
