All about me:

I am starting my sixteenth year at Alburnett!  During my first five years, I taught third grade. The 2026-2027 school year begins my eleventh year as an instructional strategist. Each day is new and exciting!  I graduated from Mount Mercy University in 2010 with degrees in elementary and secondary education. In 2017, I completed my master's degree coursework and published my thesis, earning a Master's in Education with an emphasis in reading and reading specialist. We have two boys who join me at Alburnett: Elijah, age 11 and Aiden, age 9.  For fun, I enjoy working in the yard, going on long walks in our beautiful county parks, cooking, and looking for new adventures with my family.
