All about me:

I am starting my twelfth year at Alburnett! During my first five years I taught third grade. The 2021-2022 school year year starts my seventh year as an instructional strategist. I support teachers and work with students. Each day is new and exciting! I graduated from Mount Mercy University in 2010 with degrees in elementary and secondary education. In 2017, I completed my masters degree coursework and published my thesis, earning a Masters in Education with an emphasis in reading. We have two boys: Elijah, age 7; and Aiden who is looking forward to coming to kindergarten this year. For fun, I enjoy going working in the yard, going on long walks at our beautiful county parks, cooking, and looking for new adventures with my family.
