Biography

My name is Brenden Drahn, I am in my second year of teaching special education. I currently coach middle school football and I am the high school varsity boys assistant basketball coach. I am originally from Cedar Rapids, Iowa. I graduated from Cedar Rapids Kennedy, I then attended Coe College and graduated in 2014. I am devoted to making sure that the students in my class have the best experience every day. My main content area for teaching is in history and government.

How will students be graded?

Students will not be graded in the traditional sense. Special Education is about fill gap between current grade level and functional grade level. Grades and points are given based on participation, behavior, completion, and progress towards IEP goals.

Guiding Practices:

Guiding practices will be determined individually based on students currently IEP goals.
