Hello! My name is Brittany Guler. I am originally from Newton, Iowa and graduated from the University of Northern Iowa in 2015 with a Master's degree in School Counseling. My husband, Brian, and I adopted Jessie in June of 2015 when she was 7 weeks old. Jessie started training to become a therapy dog when she was just 10 weeks old. Her training was completed in August of 2016 and she has been visiting with students and staff at Alburnett ever since! Her favorite "hobbies" are playing fetch, getting belly rubs and sitting for treats from students. My favorite hobbies are spending time with family and friends, being outside and being able to watch students learn and grow!
Mrs. G and Jessie are at Alburnett every day! We split our time between the Elementary and Middle Schools. (K-8)
We spend our time teaching K-5th grade whole group guidance, also group and individual counseling, assisting with assessments, and communicating with parents and caregivers about how best to serve children. We are so thankful for our Alburnett family!
