Hello! My name is Brittany Guler. I graduated from the University of Northern Iowa in 2015 with a Master's degree in School Counseling. This is my twelfth year at Alburnett Elementary! My husband, Brian and I, have 3 children that attend Alburnett Elementary. I'm so proud to say that I send my kids to the district that I love so much, with teachers that meet their needs and love them each day. My favorite hobbies are spending time with family and friends, being outside, reading, drinking coffee, and spending time with Alburnett students! At Alburnett, we believe "all means all" and "we do what's best for kids". Please reach out with questions; we always do what we can to make students feel happy and safe while learning each day.
I am at Alburnett Elementary every day. I spend my time teaching JK-5th grade whole group guidance, also group and individual counseling, assisting with assessments, and communicating with parents and caregivers about how best to serve children. I follow ASCA model for counseling standards. This means I teach lessons that revolve around Academic, Career, Social/Emotional and Behavior learning. See the website for more information: ASCA National Model. I also have so many recommendations for Mental Health Counselors and other resources in the area. Please reach out; I'm always happy to share!
