Technology at Albert Park College

At Albert Park College, the use of technology for learning and pedagogical practices has been embraced. Since 2011 APC was a pioneer in the use of iPads for learning.

Since the beginning we have seen how technology can support students in interacting with course material in new and exciting ways, which can motivate them to learn, participate more actively in class and allow them to explore complex concepts and topics in greater depth. Our students are able to use their devices and their applications to showcase their digital creative skills and collaborate with students. This can help to improve communication skills, foster teamwork, and prepare students for the collaborative work environments they are likely to encounter in the future.

As we move into the future, Artificial Intelligence (AI) is becoming an integral part of our world, like spell checkers, translation software and calculators, shaping industries and redefining careers. At Albert Park College, we believe that understanding and leveraging AI is crucial for preparing students for the future workforce. AI tools. like any other technology, can be powerful aids in learning and problem-solving when used ethically and effectively. We are committed to teaching our students how to engage with AI critically, enabling them to not only use these innovations but also to question and understand them.
