I've worked hard to become a presenter and change maker with worldwide reach. I present live to over 100,000 educators, entrepreneurs, business people and students every year...until the pandemic. Now I'm back out there and thrilled to be back in the inspiration game. I am an art teacher, musician, former school board member and published author. I am an Apple Distinguished Educator and I received the Making It Happen Award for my tech leadership in the classroom. I have over 60,000 education industry and business followers on Twitter, over 8,400 connections on LinkedIn, over 5,600 likes and over 5,600 followers on Facebook, over 3,400 followers on Instagram, 1.9 million views on my Youtube channel and over 13,000 users on my ArtSnacks network.Through all of my networks and associations I communicate with over 100,000 people each day. Ginger Lewman comes to the trauma-informed movement with a passion for having worked and lived in some extremely high-stress environments. And she did so without the connection that trauma-informed co-care provides. But still, she dug in, held her head high, and soldiered through. She broke new ground in building a high-tech school and cutting edge Project Based Learning programs. Soon, she began answering the call of other educators across the US and in other countries to move their programs forward as well. She was finding professional and personal success.

And suddenly, a few years ago, as the world began to recognize trauma as possibly the biggest hurdle for schools and communities to solve, Ginger found her work landing squarely inside the middle of the science of Adverse Childhood Experiences (ACEs), inside the trauma-informed education movement, and within a community of people who understood how to bring it all to the table for healing. With that community around her, she learned about her own 7 ACEs and what implications that might have had on her life up to this point.

So, taking the lessons learned from ACEs, she began the process of healing both mentally and physically. She also shifted and solidified her own foundational understanding about what really works around teaching and learning. In the midst of this health change, her 25-year marriage imploded, but she found she wasn't alone. And no longer did she have to soldier through the tough times. In the midst of the chaos and pain, she felt stronger than ever.

She wasn't alone. She was in community with people who were there with her.

And after these major events, she has continued to research deeper, experience more, and grow to where she can now bring not just her own personal learning and successes with her, but also the successes that others are having. And she brings it right to you, in a way that fits your needs. Dr. Punya Mishra is Associate Dean of Scholarship & Innovation and Professor in the Division of Educational Leadership & Innovation in the Mary Lou Fulton Teachers College at Arizona State University. He also has an affiliate appointment in the Herberger Institute for Design and the Arts. Prior to ASU, Dr. Mishra was at Michigan State University where he directed the award-winning Master of Arts in Educational Technology program. In 2016 he received the William J. Beal Outstanding Faculty Award for his comprehensive and sustained record of scholarly excellence in research and creative activities, instruction and outreach. He has served on the Executive Council of the Society for Information Technology in Teacher Education. He started and chaired the Creativity Special Interest Group at the Society for Information Technology in Teacher Education for two years as well as the Innovation & Technology Committee of the American Association of Colleges of Teacher Education (AACTE). He was a member of the School Board for the Okemos Public School District.

He is internationally recognized for his work in technology integration in teaching; the role of creativity and aesthetics in learning; and the application of design-based approaches to educational innovation. He (with Dr. M. J. Koehler) developed the Technological Pedagogical Content Knowledge (TPACK) framework, which has been described as being “the most significant advancement in the area of technology integration in the past 25 years.” He has been named as one of the ten most influential people in educational technology by the editors of Technology and Learning journal. He has received over $7 million in grants; published over 100 articles and edited 3 books.

Dr. Mishra is an award-winning instructor who has taught courses at undergraduate, masters and doctoral levels in the areas of educational technology, educational psychology, design, and creativity. Jill Ackers has over 20 years experience in teaching, coaching, and administration in public and private K-12 schools and in higher education. She began her career as a math teacher and later moved into technology. While earning her CCNA & MCSE certifications, she managed the school’s networks and taught K-8 technology in Denver, Colorado. After relocating to Dallas, Texas, she was a founding member of a K-12 International Baccalaureate STEM school. As the IB Coordinator, her role was to strategically plan the school culture, conduct teacher evaluations, and design the professional development; leading to the school’s official IB World School authorization. She later transitioned to higher education and was a part of the design team for Southern Methodist University’s first urban principal Master’s Degree program, a program to transform urban public schools & leaders. Upon completion of the program’s design, Jill pioneered the city’s first dual-language PBL elementary school and served as the Elementary Director.

Jill travels extensively, both nationally and internationally, facilitating workshops for professors, school leaders, and teachers. She has a B.S. in Applied Learning and Development and Elementary Education, M.Ed. in School Leadership and Administration. She is currently working on her Ed.D. in Instructional Technology from Sam Houston State University. She lives with her husband, two daughters, and 3 dogs. Her passions include being outdoors, rescuing and fostering German Shepherds, and staying active.

Jill’s first book, Developing Natural Curiosity through Project-Based Learning: Five Strategies for the PreK-3 Classroom, was released in winter 2017.

Pursuing liberated learning for the individual by the individual, Susannah seeks an education revolution that includes the ultimate in empowered, student-centered learning through Individualized Realized, LLC, an education opportunity to take individualized learning out of theory and into the classrooms of the world, redefining what it means to be an educator.

Through research and in the classroom, Susannah spent eight years developing truly individualized instruction that is grounded in critical thinking, authentic, and driven by passion. Susannah received her Master of Education degree in 2016, and is a five time presenter at the Schools of the Future Conference, two time presenter at the International Conference for Critical Thinking, and the author of articles about this unique pedagogy. Susannah continues to pursue knowledge and evolving educational strategies, using her own global explorations to ignite ideas in education progress.

Currently Susannah is the Director of Global Community, Curriculum, and Coaching for the What School Could Be community.

Jeff Crews, co-founder of Beyond the Chalk, provides transformational learning experiences to teachers and students. He feels technology, when used effectively as a tool by teachers and students, can facilitate the change from the traditional form of education to a 21st-century model. Jeff is a Google Certified Innovator and a member of the Google Geo in Education Advisory Team. His past experiences as a classroom teacher, technology coordinator, NASA Earth Observing System assistant director, accompanied by his doctoral research, have afforded him a unique opportunity to work with teachers and students around the world. These experiences have solidified his belief that we need to teach our next generation of students to think more critically, work more collaboratively, express themselves more creatively, and become more effective communicators. Jeff is hoping to create transformational experiences for teachers and students around the world to help excite, engage, and empower all learners.

Nick is honored to call Lolo Montana home and spends much of his time with his wife Libby, son Bechler, daughter Taela, and two dogs Takla/Anza hiking, skiing and exploring Montana’s endless life-changing outdoor experiences! He is an ecologist and an educator passionate about authentic learning with students through research and Project Based Learning (PBL)! He did his undergraduate degree in biology at Oregon State University (OSU) and his Master’s in Natural Resources and Environmental Studies at the University of Northern British Columbia (UNBC). As an ecologist, Nick has conducted research on coral reefs and mangrove forests in Panama and the Bahamas, impacts related to sea turtle ecotourism in Costa Rica, and wolves and ungulates in Yellowstone National Park and British Columbia Canada. As an educator, Nick is a credentialed teacher who for five years taught 11th grade biology and environmental science at High Tech High Chula Vista (a Title 1 PBL high school). Presently, Nick is teaching high school science at Missoula Online Academy (MOA) and working with four partners from around the world to revolutionize education through events like 24 Hours of PBL+, an App New Pangea and wikiPBL.
