Welcome to AP Chemistry!

I am thrilled to be your AP Chemistry teacher and to help you through this course. AP Chemistry is a difficult and intense subject but it is very rewarding - and not just in what you are learning. You will be pushing your abilities to learn this year, better preparing yourself for college, and potentially even earning college credit.

This course is the equivalent to college level General Chemistry and may be accepted by your chosen college as credit for their course. If they do not accept AP Chemistry as college credit you will have to take their General Chemistry, but you will find it much simpler. Your college classmates will be freaking out and you'll be all relaxed.

There will be a lot of work on your shoulders this year. If you do not complete the work or stay up on your reading, you will not pass the AP Exam on May 7th, 2020. I will be here to help you learn and to prepare for the test. Passing the AP Exam will be due to your hard work and will be your achievement. But you will not be doing it alone - you will have your classmates to help you and I will be there to assist you however I can.
