Alaura "Al" Howery was born and raised in Kansas, United States, but their passion for the arts immediately grew past the borders of their small-town upbringing. Studying for a B.F.A. in Acting at Oral Roberts University, then becoming a Drama Teacher at their local high school, Al has spent their whole life pursuing theater. In 2020, they took their acting career to a professional level, narrating audiobooks for Audible and creating custom audios on Etsy, which they still do today. Currently, Al lives alone with their pet bird Ohana, but they like it that way; easier to scream into a microphone without bothering anyone!

Al has always believed in and advocated for making theater accessible to all, because art and acting is the foundation of passing on stories to the next generation. Al's biggest dream is to be in projects that people of any culture, religion, and disability can enjoy and relate to, so they can be part of helping bring humanity together in harsh times.
