This unique program is designed to provide early career principals in Alaska (in their 1st or 2nd year as lead or assistant principal) with a collegial cohort engaged in networking, skill building and mutual support across the state.

Participants can expect to spend about 3 hours per month in program activities.

Program Cost: There is no cost to principals and school districts for ASLA training, registrations, and materials.
School districts agree to pay travel costs to the three face-to-face events.

Monthly individual mentoring for Lead Principals - Each cohort member will be paired with an Alaska-based, seasoned principal who will serve as your professional mentor. Required interactions twice per month will focus on themes of leadership and problems of practice (minimum one hour per month total time commitment)

Monthly group mentoring for Assistant Principals - APs join in on our monthly mentoring sessions with expert leadership coach, Maria Ramadane. One hour per month time commitment.
