I have:
Read the texts and reviewed the documents and handouts
Located at least one historical photograph from your community or the Bering Strait region and shared and examined it with your students
Completed your Family Education History Chart and submitted it through the assignments function on Canvas.
Thought through the education history reflection questions so that you are prepared to type a short response to each on the completion report.
Chatted/interviewed someone from your community (or your local knowledge partner) for at least 15 minutes and learned something about the community's history.

Advanced Option
I have:
Determined the focus of the local history project I'm undertaking with my students
Determined questions (in collaboration with the students) to ask of interviewees
Identified people to interview, and interviews have been completed with at least three people in the community
Created a template for students to document their learning from the interviews and gathered some student work samples
Created a plan for students to consolidate and celebrate their learning (plan may either be completed or yet to be implemented)
Documented my own new learnings about my community
